We’re Back with Tutsak (EP)

Tutsak, which marks a new beginning for us, is now out. This release consists of 5 songs, runs for 19 minutes and 36 seconds, and brings together everything we have accumulated so far in one place.

We started our journey in 2022 under the name manyel. In 2024, we released Gulyabani and Karanlık Yıldız, and in the same year we performed as the opening act on the day Duman took the stage at the Karadeniz Music Festival.

Following a name objection process, we had to leave the manyel name behind and remove the songs we had released under that name.

As of 2026, we continue under the name rüyagezer. Tutsak is the first EP we released after this process and represents a return for us. The songs revolve around inner confinement, getting lost, rebellion, and starting over. Each track stands on its own, but when listened to from start to finish, they come together around a single shared feeling.
